About Victoria

As a video journalist, I feel very lucky to be able to cover a huge range of stories and meet so many different people through my work. I’ve reported on serious stories like the migrant crisis in Calais, been to court to report on murder trials, but also lighter things like hand-reared baby wallabies and dog swimming pools! No two days are the same, and the thing that makes this job so much fun is meeting and interviewing people. I’ve worked on radio, as a producer and as a TV presenter. Sometimes the days are long, and the hours unsociable, but it’s all worth it when you see something you’ve worked hard on being broadcast.

The way people consume news is changing. As well as providing TV reports, I also create material for platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Below are examples of my work, including short videos for Facebook and specially commissioned Instagram stories.
